An Encyclopedia for Air Traffic Controllers - by IFATCA

IFATCA, the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations, is an international collective of air traffic controller associations. It was established in 1961 and is the largest and most comprehensive representative body for air traffic control in the world.

Among its many objectives, IFATCA aims at promoting safety, efficiency and regularity in International Air Navigation; and promoting and upholding a high standard of knowledge and professional efficiency among Air Traffic Controllers.

It is with this goal in mind that WIKIFATCA was created: to assist, educate and inform controllers from around the globe about a variety of ATC and ATM related topics and to be a reliable and trustworthy source of information on air traffic control matters.
